The Process

The process of getting organized with New Life Organizing begins with a Needs Assessment. Your Needs Assessment is done in your home or office. We will discuss your areas of concern and your goals. Please don’t tidy up before we come. It is important that we be able to see what areas are working for you, what areas are frustrating you, and where and why the current system breaks down.

We will walk through all of your areas together, analyzing drawers, closets, and other spaces. Once we have discussed your needs and expectations, we will provide you with a detailed proposal containing a detailed description of areas and problems desiring a solution, suggestions for conquering each of these areas, a list of suggested materials and supplies to accomplish these goals, and a range of organizing options.

You will then have the opportunity to review the proposal, ask any questions and decide which options best fit your budget and time available. You may choose to do the work entirely on your own, work with New Life Organizing on specific areas while doing others on your own, or work with us on all areas.

We then schedule a day to begin. You will receive customized, hands-on organizing services. We work one-on-one in multiple hour sessions to tackle your projects clarify your goals and gently hold you to them. We guide you through the tough decisions, advise and assist you.

We will follow up with you periodically after completion of your project to encourage you and make sure that you are able to maintain the changes you have made.
